How People Get Here & How To Pronounce “Sanjay Parekh”
March 17th, 2006 • Random Musings
I’ve taken an interest into how people find this site. More interesting is why they stay and continue to visit the site. Clearly, some people know me personally from my past academic, professional, or personal life.
Beware the Ides of March

Yeah, I know I’m a day late with the title of this post but I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday. I’m now in the throes of figuring out what I want to do after graduation in May. I’m exploring a lot of different options but I had an interesting meeting/interview last night. The person I was talking to posed this question:
“So what do you see yourself doing in five years?”
Startup: Podcast Ready - Part 3

FYI - Podcast Ready has launched their beta site. I’ve been using the software for a little while (although not much over the last week given I’m on spring break - which is also the reason for the lack of posts) and it works fairly well. I just need to find a Palm compatible MP3 player that works well and is preferably free. Know of one? Let me know where to find it.
Wi-Fi MP3 Player: Music Gremlin
March 5th, 2006 • Business, Entrepreneurship + Startups, Technology
So the last time I wrote about Podcast Ready, I went off on a side tangent of having an MP3 player with Wi-Fi built in. It made sense to me to marry these two technologies and it looks like I’m not the only one. Music Gremlin is exactly that - an MP3 player with Wi-Fi capability. The site seems a little weak on details of how it’ll work but I would hope that the integration goes beyond just your own MP3 collection and includes podcasts as well as purchased audio files. And I hope they don’t do something like try to lock you into their own music store or some such silliness.
