BigThinkrs on LinkedIn
May 12th, 2007 • Entrepreneurship + Startups, Venture Capital
In an effort to improve communications between entrepreneurs in the southeast, we’ve setup a group within LinkedIn (named creatively enough – BigThinkr) for interested parties to join. The biggest benefit of having and joining this group is that you can send requests directly to others in the group without having to go through the (sometimes tedious) process of having a request relayed through folks. Of course, you have the option to enable or disable this on your account once you join. If you’re interested in joining the BigThinkr LinkedIn group just click here. Mind you, I’m going to pick through and hand approve each request. So first, it may take a while for you to be approved (depending on how many requests I get). Also, if you’re a service provider or someone who would normally be excluded from either the YnR events or the Capital Connections event, don’t even bother trying to get into the group. The idea here is to improve entrepreneur to entrepreneur networking (although investment folks who are actively looking for startups to fund are also welcome to join) in the Atlanta/Georgia/Southeast region.
So if you fit the bill, join our LinkedIn BigThinkr group and get involved in helping your fellow local entrepreneur.
