I’m gearing up for the annual Marshall Memorial Fellowship Conference this week which is why my mind hasn’t been on blogging (I blogged about the fellowship here). The conference is a wonderful part of the fellowship experience but interestingly, you don’t find out about this benefit until after you are an alumnus. Similar to the fellowship, almost all of the food and all of the lodging associated with attending is paid for by the German Marshall Fund and the local coordinators. The venue changes each year and this year it is being held in Seattle. I’m looking forward to seeing how they pull off their program since I’m a part of the team leading the charge for the 2007 conference in Atlanta which happens to be the 25th anniversary of the fellowship program. I’ll try and do a debrief about the conference with some pictures, notes, and maybe some audio after I get back.
More posts next week.
