Too Many Gas Stations

I’ve been watching the gas issues we’ve been having in Atlanta with some interest.  For those of you not in Atlanta (or the southeast U.S.), you may not realize or know that we’ve had some issues in getting a regular supply of gasoline since Hurricane Ike came through the Gulf of Mexico.

Gray Hair Isn’t An Accomplishment

It’s an argument that we’ve all heard before.

Another Paper on Venture Capital

Journal of FinanceI took a quick read of this soon to be published paper on venture capital. I wanted to give the author the benefit of the doubt given that the paper would be published in the Journal of Finance. But even on my quick glance, this paper doesn’t add much value. The paper I previously read and wrote about is much, much better. There may be a nugget of gold somewhere in the paper but I haven’t found it yet. If you do, let me know.
